Congratulations to Etgar Keret, Fulbright alumni for the International Writing Program 2001, for winning the Sapir Prize for Literature Israel’s most prestigious and lucrative literary award, for his book “A Glitch at the Edge of the Galaxy,” a short—story collection published by Kinneret Zmora-Bitan Dvir.

Congratulations to our Board member and Fulbright alumnus, Professor Hossam Haick, on receiving the 2018 Michael Bruno Award.

The Michael Bruno Memorial Awards are presented each year to Israeli scholars and scientists who display exceptional promise, and whose achievements to date suggest future breakthroughs in their respective fields. The awards are given by Yad Hanadiv and the The Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Israel Institute for Advanced Studies [IIAS].

Professor Haick was a 2004 Fulbright Post-doctoral fellow at Caltech - California Institute of Technology, and is now a Professor at the Wolfson Faculty of Chemical Engineering at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
