Dr. Hadas Skaat Kot
Postdoc Fellowship, 2013-2014

Dr. Hadas Skaat Kot began her academic career studying Chemistry at Bar-Ilan University, from which she earned a BSc, MSc and PhD. She completed her training as a polymer chemist conducting research at Bar-Ilan’s Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, under the supervision of Professor Shlomo Margel. She then went on to do her postdoc through Fulbright at Harvard University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. While at Harvard, she gained expertise on stem cell programming, smart biomaterials and biomechanics, and engineering on-demand drug delivery systems under the supervision of one of the leading scientists in these fields, Professor David Mooney.
Today Dr. Skaat is an R&D Chemist and Regulatory Manager at Landa Digital Printing in Rehovot, where her areas of expertise include tissue engineering, neurodegenerative diseases and digital printing. On her horizon is an Executive MBA program, which she begins this summer.
