Library Road Trip: Photographing U.S. and European Libraries

Date and Time:
The National Library of Israel, Givat Ram Campus

Robert Dawson is an author, photographer and Stanford university professor. He has received a Guggenheim Fellowship and is now in Israel on a Fulbright Global Scholar Fellowship. He has published numerous books including most recently The Public Library - A Photographic Essay.
After spending four months photographing libraries throughout Greece and Italy with his wife Ellen Manchester, Dawson will share his insights into European and American libraries, education and culture. Dawson’s photographs will provide insight into the many stories from Europe that he learned while here on his Fulbright Fellowship and from his work photographing libraries throughout the United States.

You can read more about Dawson's project and his time in Israel at The Times of Israel Article.
