Friends of Fulbright and the Fulbright Alumni Association of Israel
The United States-Israel Educational Foundation highly values its alumni. This has led us to establish the Fulbright Alumni Association of Israel (FAAI), whose aim is to create a vibrant, contributing community of Fulbright alumni who combine academic excellence with social awareness and responsibility.
Our alumni are a diverse and outstanding group of individuals; among them are two Nobel Prize laureates and twenty-eight winners of the Israel Prize, the State of Israel’s highest award. They hold key positions in all Israeli academic, economic, and societal sectors. They also serve as mentors to their colleagues in launching initiatives and helping to develop their careers.
At the FAAI we work to develop this unique cadre of academics and professionals by fostering networking opportunities among alumni, as well as between alumni and various academic circles, government agencies, NGOs, and industries. Our dynamic association represents Israel’s finest and is committed to investing in the country’s future.
On July 17, 2015, at the last Friends of Fulbright general assembly meeting, the following executive committee members were elected: Ms. Smadar Elhanani, Dr. Alexandre Kedar, Dr. Iris Rasooly, and Mr. Gury Zilka.
